The fact that I can learn so much via a easy to read, short book is a testament to The Motive. As usual, Patrick is right on the money and the delivery of his messages in the fable format keeps left engaged.
I actually put myself into the story as I have had similar experiences. A must /5(91). Like the previous two books in the author's series featuring psychologist Dr. Alex Delaware - I believe this is the 30th - Motive falls a bit short of a 5-star rating in my book.
Mostly, I attribute that to a few too many characters who seem to be included just for the heck of it (to throw readers off track, perhaps?) and an abrupt, somewhat /5. 'Motive' is the first book (in quite some time) that requires the reader to be as engaged in the plot as the characters.
